Hi! I’m Sarah. I’m a naturalist, eco-tour guide and full-time Florida Keys resident for over 21 years.
Most days, I guide kayak and paddleboard eco-tours. I absolutely LIVE to paddle and look for wildlife, it’s what I do on most of my own vacations! I love creating opportunities for visitors to encounter Florida’s diverse wildlife, always with the goal of education and conservation.
I’m often found at the Key West Wildlife Center, assisting in the rescue, rehabilitation & release of native birds, bats, turtles, neonatal mammals, etc., since 2005.
In 2007, I wrote & revised 3 editions of a travel guide, Key West: A Guide to Florida’s Southernmost City, for Tourist Town Guides. I’ve also had poetry, short fiction & travel writing published in various magazines, journals & anthologies.

I get occasional acting gigs, most recently with Key West Fringe in the two-woman show The Gulf (2023), as well as the musical I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (2025.)
