Hi! I’m Sarah. I’m a naturalist, tour guide and full-time Florida Keys resident for over 21 years.
Most days, I guide kayak and paddleboard eco-tours. I absolutely LIVE to paddle and look for wildlife, it’s what I do on most of my own vacations! I love creating opportunities for visitors to encounter Florida’s diverse wildlife, always with the goal of education and conservation.
When not on the water, I’m often at Key West Wildlife Center, where I’ve served in various capacities since 2005, assisting in the rescue, rehabilitation & release of native birds, bats, turtles, neonatal mammals, etc..
In 2007, I wrote & revised 3 editions of a travel guide, Key West: A Guide to Florida’s Southernmost City, for Tourist Town Guides. From 2020-2024, I created and maintained an audio tour app called BeachBunny’s Original Tours of Key West. I discontinued the app in 2024, but my AUDIO TOUR OF DOWNTOWN KEY WEST is still available via WeGoTrip!
